This is the first story I read by this author. Agarri and Aleth are twin princes born with an imperfection into a society that doesn't tolerate imperfections. Unfortunately, their father the king, instead of loving his sons, will not tolerate their imperfections and keeps the one with the least imperfection (Agarri). He orders his captain to kill the other infant, Aleth.The captain doesn't kill the infant and Aleth is forced to live on the streets and steal to survive until his father's soldiers come upon him after he stole apples and take him into custody. His capture has him leaving the streets and becoming a prisoner of his father who found out his captain didn't kill Aleth and that his son has power he wants to use to win his wars.
Eventually, Agarri finds out he has a twin brother and sends a Triad (his brother's mates) to find him so he can finally meet him and hopefully convince him to help them win the war against their father.
This is a story of intolerance, males who can have children, and men whose mates are triads. I liked most of the story but was totally turned off by the way Aleth's triad initially treats a virgin, captive prince who has had an extremely hard life and was starved for companionship. They redeem themselves by having a happily ever after with Aleth.

I like it could have been a little longer but was ok . Try it you mite like it too.
